One sunny afternoon, Beth and I took a walk on to the end of a narrow peninsula. It was with a warm breeze--never a guarantee on Donegal Bay, even in June. If that weren't delight enough, we were surprised by a dozen skylarks in their astounding courtship flight. They warbled tirelessly as they rose high into sky and hovered remarkably long before sliding rapidly down, tail first, back into the brush. At the peninsula's point the wave swirled around a charming lighthouse.
The tune set includes two jigs and a reel, or maybe the reel is more of a hoedown. I don't have photos from that walk, so I composed the tunes to help me remember.
